Especially 4 Paws is a locally owned and operated dog walking and pet sitting business. Since 2003, E4P has been providing award winning services for pets in the comfort of their own homes.
E4P founders, Jen and Ed Ristau, along with their dedicated sitters, pledge to treat your furry companion as part of their own families.
We alleviate your worries by providing our services in the luxury of your pet’s environment to keep him/her at ease during your absence. Our goal is to maintain your pet’s routine to the best of our ability. We believe in developing healthy, fulfilled and content pets. Our services will provide exercise, guidance, and socialization leading your pet to a balanced lifestyle.
Jen Ristau - Owner and Founder

Jen has been an animal lover since a young age, beginning with the family dog, fish and rabbits. Not long after receiving her bachelor's degree, Jen adopted her first dog. Zoey, a beautiful siberian husky, was the inspiration for starting Especially 4 Paws. Thanks to Zoey, Jen was able to meet fellow animal lovers and provide a service for their pets. Jen and E4P have been proudly helping pet owners since 2003.
Ed Ristau - Operations Manager
Ed has been working with E4P since its inception in 2003. After spending almost 10 years working at a local bank as a manager in the IT department, he started full time with E4P in 2010. Born and raised in Parma Heights, Ed has had a love of pets and animals from an early age. As husky lovers, Ed and Jen love spending time with their crazy huskies Chewbacca and Nala. Ed has over 10 years experience in the pet care industry and has been certified in pet first aid.
